HAYDEN YAMPA VALLEY REGIONAL AIRPORT COMPLEX
As the commercial service airport to the Yampa Valley, Hayden serves Steamboat Springs, Hayden, Oak Creek and various other communities in the area. The airport has gone through a transformation after Steamboat Springs ceased direct commerical air service prior to 2000. The uncontrolled field offers a 10,000 foot runway and is serviced by one FBO. Demand for hangars and facilities at the airport has always been strong, but in the past three years demand for hangars has increased.
The large amount of unused and under-utilized land at the airport make it a strong candidate for Flying Crown involvement. Investments have recently been made which have positioned us to be the second largest leaseholder at the airport. We have big plans for this facility and will release plans as they become available.
